1. Introduction
Welcome to Homecoming Tours. By booking, paying for, or participating in any Homecoming Tours experience, including BlackStars Tours, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2. Booking & Reservation
- A reservation is confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit.
- All bookings are first-come, first-served and subject to availability.
- Full payment must be completed no later than 60 days prior to departure.
- Failure to complete payment by the deadline may result in automatic cancellation and forfeiture of all payments made.
Booking Confirmation:
- Upon deposit or full payment, you will receive a booking confirmation.
- Guests are responsible for reviewing all details and must notify Homecoming Tours of any discrepancies within 7 days of receipt.
3. Pricing
- All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated.
- Pricing includes only what is explicitly stated in the official itinerary.
- Homecoming Tours reserves the right to adjust pricing due to taxes, supplier increases, fuel surcharges, or currency fluctuations.
- Confirmed bookings will be honored at agreed rates where possible.
4. Scope of Experience
Homecoming Tours curates and coordinates travel experiences, including but not limited to:
- Accommodations
- Ground transportation
- Group activities and excursions
- Cultural experiences and curated events
- On-site support services
Homecoming Tours acts as a coordinator, not the direct provider, of many services.
5. What’s Included / Not Included
Included
Only items specifically listed in the official itinerary.
Not Included
Unless explicitly stated, the following are not included:
- International flights
- Travel insurance
- Visa and passport costs
- Vaccinations and medical requirements
- Alcoholic beverages
- Personal expenses (room service, minibar, etc.)
- Optional activities outside itinerary
- Tips and gratuities
5A. Accommodation Packages
Homecoming Tours offers tiered accommodation options designed to suit different travel preferences. All packages are priced per person.
GOLD Package – Double Occupancy
Designed for participants traveling in pairs or couples.
- Shared accommodations with a selected travel partner
- Premium hotel experience
- Couples may receive a single-bed room, subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis
Guests booking this package acknowledge:
- They are responsible for selecting or being assigned a roommate
- If a roommate is not available, Homecoming Tours reserves the right to:
- Reassign accommodations or
- Offer a single occupancy upgrade at an additional cost
DIAMOND Package – Single Occupancy
Designed for individual travelers seeking privacy and comfort.
- Private room for the duration of the experience
- Premium hotel accommodations
6. Guest Responsibility (Important)
Guests are required to:
- Review the tour brochure and FAQ prior to full payment
- Seek clarification on any aspect before completing payment
By completing full payment, you acknowledge:
- You have reviewed all materials
- You understand inclusions/exclusions
- You have no outstanding questions
7. Cancellation Policy
By Guest
- Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances
- 60+ days: Payments (excluding deposit) may be applied as future credit (12 months)
- 30–59 days: Up to 50% retained
- <30 days: 100% non-refundable
- No-shows: Non-refundable
By Homecoming Tours
We reserve the right to cancel or modify a trip due to:
- Insufficient participation
- Safety concerns
- Force majeure events
Guests will receive:
- A full refund OR
- Transfer to a future experience
8. Travel Insurance (Strongly Recommended)
Guests are strongly encouraged to obtain travel insurance covering:
- Trip cancellation/interruption
- Medical emergencies
- Emergency evacuation
- Lost or delayed baggage
Homecoming Tours is not responsible for losses due to lack of insurance.
9. Travel Requirements
Guests are responsible for:
- Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity)
- Visa requirements
- Required vaccinations and health documentation
Failure to meet requirements is non-refundable.
10. Health & Medical Disclosure
Guests must disclose any medical conditions, mobility limitations, or dietary restrictions that may affect participation.
Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically and medically fit for travel.
10A. Accessibility & Special Accommodations
Homecoming Tours is committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming experience for all guests.
- Guests with disabilities, mobility limitations, or special needs are encouraged to notify us at the time of booking so we can assess and attempt to accommodate specific requirements.
- While we strive to support accessibility where possible, certain destinations, activities, and transportation options may have limitations beyond our control.
- Accommodations are not guaranteed and are subject to availability and local infrastructure.
By booking, guests acknowledge that:
- They understand the nature of the itinerary and potential accessibility limitations
- They accept responsibility for determining whether the experience is suitable for their individual needs
11. Itinerary Changes
Homecoming Tours reserves the right to:
- Adjust schedules
- Substitute accommodations or activities
- Modify logistics
Changes may occur due to operational, safety, or external factors and will be made in the best interest of the experience.
12. Guest Conduct
Guests agree to:
- Respect local customs and laws
- Follow instructions from staff and guides
- Maintain respectful behavior
Homecoming Tours may remove any guest for:
- Disruptive behavior
- Unsafe conduct
- Non-compliance
Removal will be without refund.
13. Participation Policy
- Only registered guests may participate in group activities.
- Non-registered individuals are not permitted in organized events or excursions.
- Guests may engage with others during personal time but at their own risk and expense.
14. Assumption of Risk & Liability
Participation in travel activities involves inherent risks.
Homecoming Tours is not liable for:
- Personal injury or illness
- Loss, theft, or damage to belongings
- Delays, disruptions, or missed connections
Guests participate at their own risk.
15. Third-Party Providers
Homecoming Tours is not responsible for:
- Acts or omissions of hotels, airlines, transport providers, or vendors
- Service failures outside our control
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Homecoming Tours, its affiliates, partners, and staff from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your participation in the tour.
17. Media & Content Release
By participating, you grant Homecoming Tours the right to:
- Capture photos and videos
- Use your likeness for marketing and promotional purposes
You may opt out by providing written notice prior to the tour.
18. Payment Methods & Plans
Accepted payment methods will be outlined during booking.
Installment plans may be offered at Homecoming Tours’ discretion.
19. Communication
Homecoming Tours may communicate with guests via:
- Email (primary formal communication)
- Messaging platforms (e.g., WhatsApp) for real-time updates
Guests are responsible for ensuring they receive communications.
20. Force Majeure
Homecoming Tours is not liable for failure to perform due to:
- Natural disasters
- Government actions
- Pandemics
- Civil unrest
Refunds may exclude unrecoverable costs.
