  • Do I need a visa to travel to Ghana?
    1. Yes, all visitors to Ghana must have a valid passport and a visa or entry permit. Exemptions apply to nationals of ECOWAS member countries and other countries with specific bilateral agreements with Ghana.
  • How do i secure a Visa?
    1. We’ve partnered with the Ghana Consulate to streamline the visa process for all participants. Once you complete your booking, our team will guide you through the visa application process and provide the necessary support.

  • Is travel insurance required?
    1. While not mandatory, travel insurance is strongly recommended. We advise obtaining comprehensive coverage that includes medical expenses, trip cancellation, lost luggage, and other travel-related issues. Please note that PanaGenius is not responsible for any costs incurred due to a lack of insurance.

  • What is the new health entry requirement for Ghana?
    1. The only mandatory health requirement for entry into Ghana is proof of yellow fever vaccination. We recommend consulting your doctor for advice on any additional vaccinations or health precautions.

  • What is the cancellation and refund policy?
    1. All deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel your participation, 50% of the full payment will be refunded up to one month before the trip. Payments for accommodations, meals, and sightseeing are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • What about flights to and from Accra?
    1. Participants are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of their flights to and from Accra, Ghana (Airport code; ACC). Please ensure you arrive in Accra by 11:59 PM GMT on August 12, 2025. The departure date is August 17, 2025.

  • Can I use my mobile phone while in Ghana?
    1. Yes, mobile phone coverage is widely available in Ghana’s major cities and tourist areas. However, coverage may be limited in rural or remote areas. Before travel- ing, activate global roaming with your service provider or purchase a local GSM SIM card upon arrival for affordable connectivity.

  • Are credit cards accepted in Ghana?
    1. Yes, Visa and Mastercard are widely accepted in Ghana. However, American Express cardholders may find limited acceptance, especially outside of Accra. It’s best to carry cash or take necessary precautions when using cards.

  • Are activities outside the itinerary included?
    1. No, any activities not listed in the itinerary are not included and must be arranged and paid for separately by the participant.

  • What about individually selected activities?
    1. Activities chosen by participants during their free time, such as dining at restaurants or additional sightseeing, are not included in the tour package.
